General Instruction
▪ Personal belongings, including mobile phones, EarPods, and Smartwatch shall NOT be allowed into the examination room. Therefore, candidates are requested not to bring such belongings. RCSC/invigilators shall not be responsible for any loss of such belongings.
▪ The candidates are required to bring along the original Admission Card (which was issued during the document verification).
- B.Sc Nursing graduates should bring a calculator (Fx 100 and below only) for the Paper II examination, without fail
- Other candidates may use a calculator (fx100 and below only) during the examination if felt required.
Selection and Placement
Selection and placement into the Civil Service shall be based on the following:
- Should obtain a minimum of 50% score in the Main Examination;
- Merit ranking of the Examination result,
- Availability of vacancy
If there is a <e-rank in the Main Examination result for a vacant position, the Written Examination score shall be taken into consideration to break the tie and subsequently by the Viva Voce score in case there is a need to further break the tie of the Written Examination score
